About Daisy Mae
Daisy Mae Sweets & Treats is owned and operated by me, Bethany Kenyon Miertschin (with the help of my fantastic husband, the taster and cheerer in my corner). I’m a New Jersey native who has lived in LA since 1998. I have always had a passion for baking, and for years have been the go-to-girl for family and friends whenever a special treat was needed. In 2009 I decided to turn my love of baking into a career and Daisy Mae was founded.
My passion for baking started at a young age. When you have a mother in the kitchen who is an amazing baker and cook, you can’t help picking up a few pointers. When my mom would bake, you could taste the love.
My menu has old fashioned recipes along with new and inventive ones. I pride myself on using the best ingredients, the best spices, farmers market produce and organic dairy. I’m continually looking for new inspirations, with new ingredients, and new catering concepts.
In the tradition of my mother, I put my heart into my treats, and I believe you will be able to taste that in everything we make.
